I Am A Back To Source Coach

Engaging in the study of Indian Scriptures under the guidance of Sadguru Maa Samvidanad Sarswati, has been a profoundly transformative experience for me, filling my life with immense joy, peace, and contentment. As I delved deeper into these ancient teachings, I couldn’t help but wonder about their potential applications in addition to personal enrichment.

What if the wisdom gained from contemplative practices could be harnessed to facilitate success not only in one’s personal life but also in the realm of work and career?

What if these practices could be instrumental in enhancing both individual fulfilment and the bottom line of businesses?

After sharing this aspiration with my mentor, Peter J. Reding, I made the deliberate choice to pursue my Master’s Program in Coaching with him. It was a decision born from a deep-seated desire to amalgamate my life’s experiences and refine my understanding of life itself.

Over the course of a year, guided by Peter’s expertise, I embarked on yet another fulfilling journey. My aim was to use the coaching modality interweaving my understanding of The Bhagwad Gita into the language of practicality, My overarching vision has always been to traverse an inner path with unwavering focus and commitment, knowing that this journey would naturally manifest in positive and impactful contributions to the external world. This vision ultimately culminated in the establishment of my second entrepreneurial venture in 2018, Back to Source Coaching.

I reminisce with fondness about a moment back then, when my 16-year-old son posed a thought-provoking question: “Why would one want to do that? What is the relevance of going Back to Source?” I responding with a big smile, sensing that someday, as he embarks on his own journey Back to Source, he will come to understand the profound significance behind those words.

As I persist in my studies of the ancient Indian text, The Bhagwad Gita, it becomes increasingly evident that it is not solely scholarly exploration driving my pursuit. Rather, it is the culmination of my own life experiences that has led me to a deeper understanding of its teachings, some of which become meaningful to share here:

  • Life unfolds as a tapestry of experiences, weaving moments of joy and disappointment in equal measure. Yet, both are ephemeral, transient, and cyclic, fleeting through the fabric of time
  • Embarking on an inward journey in pursuit of Truth, as referenced in our Indian Scriptures as Sat Chit Anand, offers the promise of discovering enduring happiness or contentment
  • Throughout this voyage, I came to a profound realization: the fundamental source of our sorrows and sufferings lies in the loss of connection with our true Self. This Self, known by various appellations such as Atma, Purusha, Universe, Soul, Spirit, and God, epitomizes our true essence, our ultimate reality our inherent nature
  • This loss of connection with Self originates from a lack of awareness of the inherent reality of Self. This ignorance acts as a veil blinding us and trapping us in a fabricated world of false perceptions and endless cravings
  • Neither material nor psychological remedies can dissolve this ignorance. Our liberation hinges solely on reconnecting with our genuine, innermost Self, which I describe as the Source.

This illuminates the voyage you earnestly commit to with a Back to Source Coach. What bears mentioning here is that this journey mirrors the path a Back to Source Coach traverses daily themselves. As underscored by another mentor and cherished friend, Leon VanderPol, who holds profound influence in my life: “Your Transformation enables Transformation.” It is this mutual evolution that renders the journey deeply meaningful for both the Coach and the Client.

Back to Source Coaching embodies the synthesis of my accumulated wisdom, techniques, and life experiences up to this present moment. My commitment lies in guiding individuals towards aligning with the essence of their Source when they are ready, thereby igniting the drive to pursue their life’s path. Utilizing their own insights and honed ability to perceive and channel their energy, derived from this reconnection, they embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. I am humbled each time I witness a client re-establish their profound connection with Source, allowing them to consciously shape their existence and determine their vocation. This journey requires conviction, courage, commitment and compassion as individuals may find themselves embracing and cherishing their life, or alternatively, discerning aspects they wish to change-ultimately, the power to choose always lies squarely with them.

With heartfelt gratitude for the grace and guidance of all my teachers and mentors, I remain unwavering on the journey back to Source. Embracing my chosen role as a Back to Source Coach, I affirm my commitment to contributing positively in our extraordinary world.

I have faith that our journeys will converge when the time is ripe.
